Every trip we undergo needs a full team of dedicated volunteers. Your talents and skills can make a difference. Medical teams include anesthesia, plastic surgery, operating room nurses and technicians, recovery room and intensive care pediatric nurses. Non-medical volunteers have contributed services such as record keeping, translating and general troubleshooting. Teams work in cooperation with local doctors and medical facilities.
Physicians: Anesthesiologists, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatricians, Plastic Surgeons, Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeons, ENTs (Otolaryngologists), Opthamologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Hand Surgeons
Registered Nurses: Practiced in operating room support, post-operative care, recovery room care, patient triage and intake.
Non-medical Volunteer: Various tasks in the field and back at home as trip support personnel.
